The holidays are here. Thanksgiving has already come and gone. Christmas is right around the corner. The holidays can be one of the greatest times of the year. The holidays can also be one of the toughest times of the year. For many people, and for many different reasons, the holiday season is a very difficult time.
I want to share something with you that has been very helpful for me over the last several years. It is a sermon series on the book of Job by Tullian Tchividjian, pastor of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church. The series is called “The Gospel of Suffering.” (If you would prefer, he turned it into a book called, Glorious Ruin: How Suffering Sets You Free.)
