Saving Rock Mill is a documentary that recounts the over ten year effort to restore a 200 year old grist mill in the upper falls of the Hocking River. The Fairfield Country Park District led the restoration campaign involving professionals and volunteers alike. Rock Mill is located in Stebelton Park. This documentary was recognized by the Columbus Landmarks Foundation in 2020 with its inaugural Ed Lentz Prize which “best documents, evokes, interprets, analyzes or captures the importance of place, and its preservation”.

The Friends of Barnitz Mill is a 501(c)3 non-profit that was established in 2023, and is dedicated to preserving and repurposing the historic Barnitz Mill in Dickinson Township’s Stuart Park.
